Cardinal has initiated a variety of programs designed to enrich the theatre-going experience and to make world-class theatre accessible to children and families.
Community Ticket Initiative
The Community Ticket Initiative is designed to facilitate access to theatre for all members of our community. During the 2008-2009 season, 360 underserved children and families attended a Cardinal show at no charge. Last season, the Community Ticket Initiative provided this opportunity for 1,000 members of our community. Our goal for the 2011-2012 season is to bring 1,500 students, children and family members to Cardinal Stage at no charge to the attendees. Click here for more info >
Community Sales Collaboration
In the spirit of supporting fellow not-for-profit and charitable organizations, Cardinal Stage Company has launched the Community Sales Collaboration (CSC). CSC is designed to allow groups to raise funds by re-selling tickets to one of Cardinal’s productions.

Cardinal for Kids
Cardinal for Kids is a series of plays for young children (ages 3-10). Cardinal launched the series with a production of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie in June, 2010. Remaining shows in the 2011-2012 Cardinal for Kids season are: Go, Dog. Go! and Annie.
Ivy Tech Family Weekends
Ivy Tech has generously sponsored the Ivy Tech Family Weekend for two productions in the Cardinal for Kids Season! During the first weekend of performances of Click Clack Moo and Go, Dog. Go!, receive two FREE kid's admissions for every one adult ticket purchased.

$10 Student Ticket Initiative
New this season, Cardinal Stage Company has launched the $10 Student Ticket Initiative. Now all students with a valid ID can purchase tickets to any production in the Cardinal Stage 2011-2012 season! With a wide variety of productions and programming available in the Season, Cardinal welcomes students of all ages (elementary, middle, high school, college and graduate). Tickets can also be purchased at the $10 student rate for school groups of any size.
School Matinee Program
Special school matinee performances began in September, 2008 with The Diary of Anne Frank. Last season, the program expanded to bring in over 700 local high school students to four special matinees of Inherit the Wind. This season All My Sons will feature special student matinees.
