Price,-MikeMike Price (Randle P. McMurphy) has acted in Cardinal Stage productions including Of Mice and Men, Hairspray, 1776, Brighton Beach Memoirs, The 39 Steps, Les Misérables, Chatlotte’s Web, The Lonesome West, My Fair Lady, August: Osage County, Underneath the Lintel, and A Year with Frog and Toad. Mike has an MA in instructional systems technology and has worked as an instructional video producer/director and instructional consultant. He is the associate artistic director at Cardinal Stage Company and assists with fight choreography and movement, as well as media, web and production technical issues.

Macy,-ConstanceConstance Macy (Nurse Ratched) is happy to be back in Bloomington. Previous roles at Cardinal include Barbara in August: Osage County, Jean Louise (narrator) in To Kill a Mockingbird and Mrs. Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank. She lives in Indianapolis where she has been a regular performer at the Indiana Repertory Theatre for 25 years, Counting Good People, Becky’s New Car and her solo performance in Lost: A Memoir among her favorites. She was also a founding member of ShadowApe Theatre Company and performed with them for a dozen years. Other companies include Geva Theatre (Rochester, NY), Playmakers Rep (Chapel Hill, NC), Pioneer Theatre Company (Salt Lake City, UT), Syracuse Stage (NY), Kansas City Repertory Theatre (MO), the Phoenix Theatre (Indianapolis) and Heartland Actors Repertory Theatre (Indianapolis). As commercial talent, she has provided voice­over for local and national television and radio spots as well as industrial films, training videos, websites and audio­books. She has also provided live narration for The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. A graduate of Indiana University’s Department of Theatre and Drama, Ms. Macy has been honored by the Indiana Arts Commission, is a two­time Arts Council of Indianapolis Creative Renewal Fellow and a Lunt­Fontanne National Fellow.

Prolux,-JeremyJeremy Proulx (Chief Bromden) is a proud First Nations actor of both Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) and Haudenosaunee (Oneida) descent, originally from the community of Neyaashiinigmiing, simply translated “point of land surrounded on three sides by water.” He is currently based in Toronto, Canada and honoured to be making his debut with Cardinal Stage Company. Favorite Canadian credits: BONES: An Aboriginal Dance Opera, An Aboriginal Journey with Brecht, Miinigooweziwin…The Gift and From the Aztlan to the Zocalo (Banff Centre), The Ecstasy of Rita Joe (Western Canada Theatre and the National Arts Centre), King Lear (National Arts Centre) and Where the Blood Mixes (Teesri Duniya Theatre). International credits: Red Forest (The Young Vic in London, UK; Teatro Vascello in Rome, Italy and Teatro Ermanno Fabbi in Modena, Italy) for Belarus Free Theatre and the MOT International Theatre Festival in Skopje, Macedonia and most recently One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA) for which he won a BroadwayWorld.com award for Best Actor in a Play. Bobzien,-ClintClint Bobzien (Aide Warren) is a professional acrobat, and actor, Clint Bobzien’s formal training began on stage at the University of Evansville’s theater program. He has performed nationally, internationally and on broadway as a principle artist in a variety of shows since 2000 and is excited to perform with the Cardinal Stage Company for the first time.



Craig,-AlanAlan Craig (Charles A. Cheswick III) trained as an actor at The American Musical & Dramatic Academy on Broadway in NYC and Ball State University.  Mr. Craig last appeared on stage in Greater Tuna at the Palms Theatre in Mesa, Arizona. Cuckoo’s Nest is Alan’s 5th Cardinal Stage production.  Other Cardinal Stage credits: The Grapes of Wrath (Proprietor), To Kill A Mockingbird (Sheriff Heck Tate), Willy Wonka (Mr. Salt), and Pippi Longstocking (Captain Longstocking).  Alan has performed locally at Cardinal Stage, Buskirk-Chumley, Brown County Playhouse (IU Theatre Dept.), Shawnee Theatre, Bloomington Playwright’s Project, Waldron Arts Center, French Lick Springs Resort, Muncie Civic, and the Bedford Theatre.  Favorite regional credits: Forum (Pseudolus), JC Superstar (Herod), Greater Tuna (Thurston), Noises Off (Roger), Love/Sex/IRS (Floyd), and Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Max).  Alan resides in Bloomington with his orange tabby, Buddy.

Fedor, CarrieCarrie Fedor (Candy Starr) is delighted to take the stage with Cardinal for the second time. She was previously seen in Peabody: The Science Fair Affair. Carrie is from Indianapolis and has performed on several stages there, including at Beef & Boards and Actor’s Theatre of Indiana. In addition to theatre, Carrie has performed in several films and commercials and has been an improv actor for several years. When she’s not acting, Carrie works part-time as a vegan sous chef and takes care of her three children. Enjoy the show!


Gaines,-JoeJoe Gaines (Ruckly) Joe was the Tin Man in Cardinal Stage Company’s, The Wizard of Oz and Mr. Gilmer in To Kill a Mockingbird. Joe was a founding member of Detour Theatre Company and appeared as Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Also with Detour: The Beckett Plays, The Pinter Plays, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, A Doll’s House, What the Butler Saw, Philadelphia Story, and Director for Buried Child. Joe has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Brandeis University in Boston. While in Boston, he appeared under the direction of Edward Albee in Malcolm. He has appeared professionally as an actor in Chicago, Indianapolis, Boston and Washington DC at such theatres as Victory Gardens Theater, Organic Theatre, Chicago Actors Ensemble, Chicago Shakespeare Company. In Indiana, Joe has appeared regularly with Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis where he was nominated for a Corbin Patrick Award as Best Supporting Actor by the Indianapolis League of Professional Theatres. Phoenix Theatre credits include The Day Room, 4AM America, 3 Guys Naked from the Waist Down, T-Bone and Weasal, Roosters, & Woman in Mind. Joe’s film and TV credits include Lottie’s Quest, Pottersville, The Replacements with Keanu Reeves, Chicago Force, Rogue Runners, CNN’s Burden of Proof, Discovery Channel Eco-Challenge and a leading role in the award winning independent film, Mary/Mary.

Hicks,-GlenGlenn Hicks (Dr. Spivey) is thrilled to return to the stage after a long hiatus, during which time he worked as a professional musician, fronting the Bloomington based rock & roll band, El Nino, as well as playing bass for 4AD recording artist Lisa Germano. Graduating with a degree in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University. His stage credits include: Tristram in Indiana University’s production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Taking Steps, Raul in Indiana University’s production of William Mastrosimone’s Extremities, and as Tour Guide in Bloomington Playwrights Project’s production of Dennis J. Reardon’s Subterranean Homesick Blues Again. Glenn would like to thank his parents, Bill and Karen Hicks, as well as his children, Solveig and Jarno, for all of their love and support.

Kuhne,-PaulPaul Kühne (Martini) is excited to make his Cardinal debut in Cuckoo’s Nest. He’s previously been seen in town at the Bloomington Playwrights Project in SequenceBomb/Shell and The Blizzard Sells Out. Favorite roles before moving to Bloomington from NYC include Boo in The Marriage of Bette and Boo and Larry in Burn This. Paul holds an A.B. in English from Colgate University and was trained in theatre at Colgate, The British American Drama Academy and Boston University. Paul’s also writing the book and lyrics for a number of musical projects that have yet to see the light of day. Four years ago, Paul started his own business, ürgency, where he serves as a marketing consultant for educational technology and software companies and small businesses. He currently lives in Btown with his lovely wife Brooke, fuzzy dog Buddy and less fuzzy two-year-old son Breukelen.

McCabe,-IanIan McCabe (Billy Bibbitt) is thrilled to make his Cardinal Stage debut. McCabe is a working actor currently finishing his degree in Folklore with a focus in Education/Performance Studies. He has acted on stages in Chicago, South Carolina, New Mexico and Indiana over the last four years.  Most recently, you may have seen him in The Capables at the Bloomington Playwrights Project. McCabe has trained in improvisation, clown, and physical theatre and works as a teaching artist for youth in those disciplines. Ian would like to thank his family, Macko, and Nora without whom he couldn’t do what he does.

McGregor,-MikeMike McGregor (Aide Turkel) Mike is honored to once again share the stage with Constance, Mike P., and this amazingly talented cast. Thanks to Randy, Lori, and the whole crew for creating such a wonderful production.  Appearances in former Cardinal productions include My Fair Lady, Annie, To Kill a Mockingbird, Big River, Charlotte’s Web, Les Miserables, and 1776!  Mike has also recently sung for The Stardusters Big Band.  When not indulging his passion (performing), Mike sidelines as a faculty member in the Media School at Indiana University.


Miller,-SarahSarah Miller (Sandra) Sarah Miller is a graduate of IU’s Jacobs School of Music with degrees in music education and choral conducting. For the past four years she has been the choral director at Bloomington North High School as well as the director of the IUCC Chamber Choir. In addition to these positions, Sarah works privately with approximately 30 vocal and piano students.  Sarah was the director of Bloomington North’s musicals The Drowsy Chaperone in 2015, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in 2014, and the music Director for Crazy For You in 2013. She played the role of Abigail Adams in Cardinal Stage’s production of 1776. She is very excited to be returning to the Cardinal Stage and to be working with such a talented group of people!

Murray,-BridgetBridget Murray (Nurse Flinn) is thrilled to be making her Cardinal Stage debut in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest! She is a sophomore at IU majoring in Journalism with a second concentration in Theatre. Previous credits include The Curse of an Aching Heart (Melody Lane) and Up the Down Staircase (Sylvia Barrett) for Mud Creek Players. She is a proud member of IU’s longest-running improv comedy troupe, Full Frontal Comedy, and has been practicing improv comedy for the past six years. Bridget would like to thank her friends and family for having more confidence in her than she does, and for their endless support.

Peeples,-RoderickRoderick Peeples (Dale Harding) calls Chicago home, and last appeared at Cardinal Stage as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. In Chicago: Many roles at Chicago Shakespeare, Goodman, Steppenwolf, TimeLine, Remy Bumppo, Victory Gardens, Famous Door, Court, and Next theatres. A Joseph Jefferson Award for Dealer’s Choice (Roadworks), a Joseph Jefferson Citation for Orphans (CT20 Ensemble), and several nominations over the years. Regional: Syracuse Stage, Clarence Brown Theatre, Madison Repertory, five seasons with the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and nine seasons with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Film: Robert Altman’s The Company, Road to Perdition, Novocaine, The Hudsucker Proxy, Chat. TV: Prison Break, ER, Early Edition, and the Untouchables series (syndicated).

Slater,-TomTom Slater (Aide Williams) Tom Slater studied theatre and dance at the USC. He competed as an amateur ballroom dancer in college, eventually turning pro, adding teacher/choreographer to his repertoire. He has danced, taught, choreographed, and coached for over 30 years. During his career he’s performed for Bob Hope, President and Mrs. Clinton, and President Gerald Ford. Also with Suzanne Somers, Vic Damone, Louise Mandrell, Charo, and danced personally with Juliet Prowse on national television. Tom’s been featured in 5 national commercials in Hollywood. He coached Jane Krakowski, Chayanne, Kris Kristoferson and Joan Plowright for the movie Dance With Me, where he’s also a featured dancer. Tom is a World Exhibition Champion, a style of ballroom that includes overhead lifts. Today he acts, dances, and coaches in Indianapolis, Bloomington, and California. He is the owner of YOUnique Studio, a dance studio and hair salon which specializes in a boutique experience for customers. http://youniquestudio.com

Stonerock,-ZachariahZachariah Stonerock (Frank Scanlon) Zachariah Stonerock is a resident of Indianapolis and a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University.
