The Agony & Ecstasy of Steve Jobs

November 5 - 22
Waldron Firebay

Actor Bio

Knell, DavidDAVID KNELL (Narrator) made his Broadway debut in Runaways as a teen before moving to Hollywood, where he performed in countless television series and movies. His breakthrough film was the starring role in the cult college comedy Spring Break. He appeared with Tom Hanks in both Splash and Turner and Hooch, and even implanted Arnold Schwarzenegger with a memory chip in the original Total Recall. David’s alter-ego is indeed an Apple aficionado. In fact the only two non-acting jobs David ever held down were both with Apple, once during the dark days of Steve Jobs’ exile to Alderaan, and later at the Apple Store, when the iPhone was just being introduced. Steve Jobs once sent him an email, saying he was giving David one of the first iPhones. Later, Steve Wozniak actually signed it for him. If you ask nicely, David may even show it to you. David is a proud member of Actors Equity, SAG/AFTRA and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
