Deinlein, Audie head shotAudie Deinlein (Lady Bird) is a junior pursuing a B.F.A. in musical theatre at IU. She is so excited to be back doing another Cardinal for Kids show! Some favorite credits include Pippi Longstocking (Pippi), Junie B. Jones (Lucille), Shrek the Musical (Ugly Duckling) for Cardinal Stage, and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally Brown), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Ensemble), and Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play (Marge) for IU Theatre. Audie just finished her first directing project with The Birthday Feast by Scott Russel Sanders and Alex Crowley produced through IU Health. Audie is a member of the Jacob’s School of Music Singing Hoosiers and Varsity Dancers. She is a native of Bloomington, Indiana.

Fary, Christian head shotChristian Fary (Snail, April 22-May 2) ) is very excited to be making his Cardinal Stage debut. He is a senior at Indiana University who hails from Hammond, Indiana. Christian has performed on the IU mainstage in Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. After graduation, Christian is headed back to the beautiful mountains of Bigfork Montana to work at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse before heading to New York.


Henderson, Reid headshotReid Henderson (Frog) is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he earned his Bachelor of Fine arts in Drama. King Charles III is his third show with Cardinal Stage Company. He has previously appeared in Cardinal productions of Mary Poppins as Bert and Elephant and Piggie as Gerald. Other roles include Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Joseph Cardin in The Children’s Hour, Bollingbroke in Richard II, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, and Bobby Child in Crazy for You. Reid also took on the role of director for the first time this past summer with a New Jersey production of Oliver! followed by A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Reid thanks the cast, crew, and entire Cardinal team for all of their time and hard work. It’s a real treat coming back to work in Bloomington.

Walker, Maria head shotMaria Walker (Lady Bird) is delighted to be working with Cardinal for this production! Previous appearances with Cardinal include: Mary Poppins (Winifred Banks), Annie (Grace Farrell), The Wizard of Oz (Glinda), Charlotte’s Web (Charlotte), Willy Wonka (Mrs. Bucket), The Birthday Feast (Mrs. Allegri), Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, and Oliver!. She recently performed with Indiana Festival Theatre in Sense and Sensibility (Mrs. Dashwood) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Maria earned her MM in Voice from IU Jacobs School of Music. She regularly performs as singer and soloist in a variety of musical projects with local musicians and ensembles. This Spring she contributed to a recording project titled BloomingSongs, a family music collection comprised of original songs and pieces by Bloomington-affiliated composers.

Weaver, A.D. copyA.D. Weaver (Toad)  is excited and grateful to work with Cardinal Stage.  He’s a Chicago based performer born and raised in Northwest Indiana. Favorite theater credits include Black Ensemble Theater: The Teddy Pendergrass Story (Jeff Recommended) ETA Creative Arts: Migration (2X BTAA award wins) ,Theater 47: Dreamgirls, The Ike Turner Story (workshop and Chicago Premier)  ,NIETF Foundation: Ragtime, Ross Music Theater: Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, The Secret Garden, The Music Man. He has traveled with various recording gospel choirs and worked as a live and session background vocalist for a number of national and independent artists.  Thank you mom for being the greatest mommy on the planet!! Toy and Dante for being the best examples, all my brothers and sisters, The Reinhart Family, my friends back in the Chicago region. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!! Weidenbener, Matthew head shotMatthew Weidenbener (Snail, May 3- May 13) is excited to return to Cardinal for his fourteenth production! He is a junior B.F.A. in musical theatre. Recent credits include, IU Theatre: The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert Martin), Jesus Christ Superstar (Guard), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Male Ensemble), Sweet Charity (Featured Dancer/Ensemble), Into the Woods (Giant/Ensemble). For IU Summer Theatre: The King’s Critique (Neil). For Cardinal Stage Company: Oliver! (Noah Claypole/A.Chor.), Mary Poppins (Robertson Ay/Ensemble), Shrek (Pinocchio), Hairspray (Fender), Willy Wonka (Augustus Gloop), Charlotte’s Web (Wilbur). Matthew can be seen weekly as the co-host of WTIU’s “The Friday Zone” airing on PBS throughout the midwest. Matthew is from Bloomington, Indiana.
