Micah-Shane Brewer (Director) is a director, actor and musician from East Tennessee, and is excited to be making his directorial debut with Cardinal.  He is the founding Artistic Director of Encore Theatrical Company, where he has directed for the past 11 seasons.  Recent directing credits include Ragtime, The Bridges of Madison County, The City of Conversation, Mary Poppins, Follies, One Man Two Guvnors, and many more.  As an actor, Micah-Shane has appeared regionally in diverse work such as Time Stands Still (Jamie), Doubt (Father Flynn), Violet (Preacher), Sweeney Todd  (Tobias),  Spamalot  (Sir Robin), Sunday in the Park with George (George), The Full Monty (Malcolm), among others.  Micah-Shane holds a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of Tennessee, where he has acted and directed for the Clarence Brown Theatre.  Undergraduate degrees in both music and theatre from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  He is a lecturer at the University of Tennessee and has served as a guest director, coach, and adjunct professor for several universities, theatres, and conferences. Anna Butler (Nermal) is overjoyed to be returning to the stage after a several year hiatus, and is thrilled to be doing so with Cardinal Stage Company. After childhood as a thespian, she left the theater to earn her B.A. in Creative Writing and Video Production at Ball State University and never looked back…until now.  She currently resides here in Bloomington with her black Lab, Trillian, and a sneaking suspicion that, while Trillian may hold one-half of her heart, the theater holds the other.

Ashley Dillard (Arlene) holds an M.F.A. in acting from Indiana University with a B.A. in theatre from Indiana State University. For Cardinal Stage: Brighton Beach Memoirs (Nora). For IU Summer Theatre: Love’s Labour’s Lost (Princess), Persuasion (Anne) Sense and Sensibility (Marianne), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia). For IU Theatre: The Tempest (Caliban), Dancing at Lughnasa (Kate Mundy), Antigone (Antigone), Pride and Prejudice (Lady Catherine de Bourgh). Regional: Home (BPP), RENT, A Wrinkle in Time, Godspell, Crimes of the Heart, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Crossroads Repertory), Vanya and Sonia and Masha andSpike (Phoenix Theatre), Pump Boys and Dinettes (Chenango River Theatre), Lend Me A Tenor (Gilmore Creek Repertory). NYC/Workshop: Dime Heroes, Monday Nights New Voices, You’re Going to Hate This w/ Lindsey Mendez, Here Be Dragons: A Rock Musical, and The Dudleys, an Alec Baldwin Fellowship workshop. Ashley originally hails from Highland, Indiana. ashleydillard.com

Reid Henderson (Jon Arbuckle) is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he earned his Bachelor of Fine arts in Drama. Garfield-The Musical with Cattitude is his fifth show with Cardinal Stage Company. He has previously appeared in Cardinal productions of Mary Poppins (Bert), Elephant and Piggie (Gerald), King Charles III (Prince William), and A Year with Frog and Toad (Frog). Other favorite shows in New York and New Jersey include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom), The Children’s Hour (Joe), Richard II (Bollingbroke), Seussical (Cat in the Hat), and Crazy for You (Bobby Child). Reid thanks the cast, crew, and entire Cardinal team for all of their time and hard work. It’s a real treat coming back to work in Bloomington.

Chris Krenning (Odie) is originally from the tiny village of Marine, IL and is the oldest of his seven siblings. He studied at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and has since traveled the country performing for audiences of all ages and sizes. Favorite roles include Brother Bear in Berenstain Bears Live, Peter Pinkerton in Pinkalicious the Musical, Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical, and Will Parker in Oklahoma! A huge thank you to my family and friends for their continued love and support, Cardinal Stage Company for giving me the opportunity to bark my head off, and my dog, Bones, for sharing his canine wisdom. Move over Lassie, Odie is here to stay!

Jason Slattery (Garfield) is a Chicago based actor and is thrilled to be making his Cardinal Stage debut!! Regional credits include: Sister ActEvitaThe Nutcracker, and She Loves Me (Marriott Theatre); Sweeney Todd (Paramount Theatre); Legally Blonde (Westchester B’way Theatre); The Producers (Ivoryton Playhouse). For 3 years, Jason traveled the world as the lead male vocalist onboard Silversea Cruises. Thanks to Randy, Micah-Shane and the entire Cardinal Stage team. A proud graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University. For Zack!
